Adrian Achim holds a PhD in management from ASE and he has expertise in strategic management, strategic planning, budgeting, energy security, economic intelligence, strategic thinking and crisis management.
He is also a police chief-commissioner and he currently holds the position of head of the Strategic and Budget Planning Office within the Ministry of Home Affairs. In the past years he held several executive and management positions in the defense, order and public safety sector such as advisor to the Secretary of State for public safety and security, head of the Data and Intelligence Management Office, head of the Economic Macro-Criminality Office, analyst within the Presidential Administration, with more than 16 years as an expert in the areas of operational and strategic analysis, intelligence, public safety and national security. Over time he wrote articles and specialized documents on various topics of interest and he is co-author of the first manual entitled “Strategic Analysis“ intended for the use of managers who follow the training programs organized within the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as managers from the public and private sector.
